1.  INTRODUCTION
================
This file has been prepared to assist centres in updating their systems with results received either via paper or Interchange. Please follow these guidelines closely as it will help OCR staff to process your entries quickly and efficiently. 

2.  OPTION TITLES
=================
Full Awards and Top Ups
Scheme titles are followed by a 'code' which summarises the level and title 
e.g. 	EC3 IN ENGINEER (FULL):EC3ENG 
	EC3 IN ENGINEER-TOPUP:EC3ENG 
	EC3 IN ENGINEER-DOWNGRADE:EC3ENG
          

3. OPTION CODES
===============
For full award and top up entries, the scheme code is followed by '00' 
e.g.  	582300 is scheme 05823 full award.


For full award re-entry, the scheme code is followed by '0R'
        58230R is scheme 05823 full award re-entry.

If you are entering a candidate for a full award or a top up, it is not necessary to include individual units.

4.  LEVEL CODES
==========================
Please note that Cambridge Technical use the following entry type levels:

Level 2
AW2 = Award
CE2 = Certificate
DI2 = Diploma

Level 3 
CE3 = Certificate
EC3 = Extended Certificate
ID3 = Introductory Diploma
FD  = Foundation Diploma
SD3 = Subsidary Diploma
DI3 = Diploma
ED3 = Extended Diploma


5.  ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
==========================

APPROVALS:	You should only submit entries for schemes for which your centre has been approved. The basedata is generic and lists all Cambridge Technicals. Any entries for non-approved schemes will be rejected.
DEADLINE: 	Please note that there are no deadlines for submitting entries for Cambridge Technical. 
BOARD: 		Please ensure that the board identifier for OCR Technicals entries is set to 72.
SERIES:		Cambridge Technical entries should come under the September series which may need to be created.
FULL  :	 	Candidates should be entered for the full award.
